On Sunday April 10th, supporters from the Washington and East Peoria area gathered at the home of Walter and Joan Ruppman to enjoy conversation and wine donated by Washington's local tasting room, Tres Rojas Winery. This was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to create new connections and discover friends and colleagues they had in common.
While Joan gave half of our guests tours of their beautiful historic home, Karla had an opportunity to speak on the campaign to answer questions about our campaign for District 91.
If you have space to accommodate about 20 people in your home or in your backyard, let us know so we can build community among Democrats in your neighborhood!

Our campaign now has the minimum signatures required to get on the ballot, and we need another 200 or more for a safe "cushion". Additionally, we want to especially support any County Board candidates who wish to get their name out there and build early support.
